Heatron Co. Ltd was established as a trading partner in 1960. Founded by Demetris K. Christodoulou, Heatron was instrumental in the introduction and application of Heating, Ventilation, Airconditioning and Refrigeration technologies in Cyprus. By the mid 60s’ the company had created branches and outlets island-wide. As well as representing high quality internationally produced equipment Heatron also began supplying the market with polystyrene insulating products manufactured locally in its own dedicated facility. Due to demand the production division located at the Mia Milia ‘New Industrial Zone’ was operating three shifts, 24 hours a day until the fateful advance of the Turkish Troops in the summer of 1974. Heatron Co. Ltd lost access to all it’s assets in the occupied areas including the factory & warehouse. Despite everything, a small existing outlet in Nicosia city centre was resurrected as the company’s main office and Heatron reorganized itself, concentrating on sales and service.

Today, Heatron has fully re-established itself and is once again delivering quality products and services to satisfied customers throughout the government controlled areas of the Republic of Cyprus.

Heatron has already obtained ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, and in association with a consulting company, it is currently in the process of implementing the BS standards: OHSAS 18001. These standards will allow for better organization and management of our company, provide better job quality for our staff, and consequently increase the quality of service provided to our customers.
